How do I apply for a position?

Go to Careers.Dillards.com

Under "Search Openings," select the area you would like to apply to: Stores, Corporate, Technology, or Supply Chain

Select a location and position you are interested in

Select "Apply Now"

You will be prompted to register or login using your email address

A passcode will be sent to your email address. The passcode and session are valid for 30 minutes. If you do not get the email with the passcode in a timely manner, check your Spam/Junk folder.

Complete the application information on each tab (About You, Education & Experience, Availability)

If you have a resume you wish to upload, you may do it on the Resume/Attachments tab.

  • To upload a file from your computer:
    • Click Choose File to select a file from your computer or device
    • Locate and select the file (.doc, .docx and .pdf are allowed)
    • The file will be scanned for viruses and saved if acceptable
    • (optional) Use the delete icon to remove an uploaded document
  • To upload a file from your mobile device:
    • File is already on device:
      • Log into Careers
      • Continue to Resume/Attachments tab
      • Click "Choose Files"
      • Select the file from the available local files or cloud storage providers (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox) on your device
    • File is not already on device.
      • Log onto a personal computer and download the application for your preferred cloud storage provider (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox) if not already downloaded
      • Save your resume to your cloud storage provider of choice as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf
      • Download your preferred cloud storage application to your mobile device
      • Log into Careers
      • Continue to Resume/Attachments tab
      • Click "Choose Files"
      • Select your cloud storage provider and attached your file.

Select the Review & Sign tab; type in your name and select Sign & Continue

You will then be directed to a 3rd party webpage to complete a tax credit eligibility survey

You will be returned to the Careers.Dillards.com website and receive a green success message once you have successfully completed the application process. You will also receive an email confirming that your application has been successfully submitted


I've received an email that my application is incomplete. What am I missing?

Go to Careers.Dillards.com.

Select 'APPLIED BEFORE? LOG IN' at the top right of the screen.

You will be prompted to log-in using your email address.

A passcode will be sent to your email address. The passcode and session are valid for 30 minutes. If you do not get the email with the passcode in a timely manner, check your Spam/Junk folder.

Check the tabs when you sign in and make sure that no tabs are red (indicating incomplete).

If the tab is red, go to that section and complete the required fields.

Select the Review & Sign tab; type in your name and select Sign & Continue.

I've been directed to fill out a tax survey. Is this part of the application process?

Yes. The tax credit survey is simply a questionnaire designed to identify an applicant's eligibility for a tax incentive.


I've successfully submitted my application, but I need to make a change. How do I do that?

Once an application has been successfully submitted, no adjustments can be made. You can provide the store that you are applying to with any additional information.


Why doesn't the passcode that you emailed me when I first applied work now?

The passcode and session are valid for 30 minutes. You will need to request a new passcode.

  • If you generate a new passcode within the 30 minutes, then the previous passcode will be invalid.
  • Go to Careers.Dillards.com.
  • Select 'APPLIED BEFORE? LOG IN' at the top right of the screen.

I keep selecting "I am not a robot" but it's telling me it could not connect to "". What do I do?

is a third party application provided by Google that Dillard's uses to ensure that you are a real person. If the service is down, you will need to try again later.


I can't get the Careers.Dillards.com website to work on my computer. What do I do?

The Careers.Dillards.com website may not work correctly on older or unsupported web browsers. Make sure you are running the latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox. In the event you are unable to apply using your personal computer, each Dillard's location has a kiosk available for you to complete your application. You will need access to your email for the passcode, so be sure to bring an email capable mobile device when you apply.


I have other questions about the application process. Where do I go?

Contact the location that you applied to for any other questions regarding the application process.
